Kwon Dae-Sup is a Korean artist known for his contemporary renditions of moon jars, a traditional form of Korean porcelain named after their round shape.
Kwon Dae-Sup discovered ceramics in 1978, when he saw a moon jar at an antique shop in Seoul. Then a painting student at Hongik University, the artist decided to pursue ceramics and moved to Japan following his graduation in 1979. There, he studied under the potter Ogasawara Chōshun IX.
Kwon has said that he was drawn to the simplicity of the moon jar, saying its shape, without any decoration, is 'the most modern, most minimal, and the most perfect abstraction.'
Since his return to Korea in the mid-1980s, Kwon has lived and worked in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, where the official kilns of the former Joseon dynasty remain. Paying attention to traditional procedures, he began creating his own porcelain ceramics by collecting and studying leftover shards from the kilns.

권대섭은 조선 백자의 전통적인 방식을 현대적으로 풀어낸 달항아리로 잘 알려진 한국의 작가이다. 권대섭은 홍익대에서 서양화를 공부했으나, 1978년 서울 인사동의 한 골동품 가게에서 달항아리를 우연히 보고 도자기를 접한 뒤로, 방향을 틀었다. 그는 그렇게 홍익대학교 회화과에 재학 중 도예를 전공하기로 결심하고 1979년 졸업 후 일본으로 건너가 5년간 일본 규슈 나베시마요에서 도예가 오가사와라 조슌 9세를 사사했다.

그는 달 항아리가 어떠한 장식도 없이 그저 가장 현대적이고, 가장 미니멀하며, 가장 완벽한 추상이라고 설명했다. 1980년 귀국 후, 그는 조선시대 관요(官窯)가 있던 경기도 광주에서 어린 딸과 사금파리를 줍고, 전통적인 방식에 대해 공부하고 연구를 지속해왔다. 권대섭은 달항아리는 아무런 장식이 없는 형태가 '가장 모던하고 가장 미니멀하며 가장 완벽한 추상'이라며 소박함에 끌렸다고 한다.

David Gerstein is an Israeli painter, sculptor and designer. He has earned an international reputation over his 50-year artistic career and his work is highly regarded internationally. David Gerstein expressed nature, sports, and city life in cut-out techniques.

David Gerstein was born in Jerusalem in 1944 and graduated from Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem. He then studied at the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux Arts in Paris. He was part of  Art Students League, New York, and he graduated St. Martin's School of Art for Graduate Studies. Currently, he is a Senior Instructor at Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem.

David Gerstein had a passion for public sculpture at the same time, and created more than 40 sculptures in public squares in Israel alone, and many more large-scale outdoor sculptures in England, France, Sweden, Italy, China, Korea and other countries.

His works have been exhibited in museums since 1987. In 2016, he received Taiwan's Artistic Creation Award. Lance Armstrong bought one of his bicycle rider sculptures, and Stephen King mentions him in one of his books. His outdoor sculpture "Momentum" is the tallest public sculpture in Singapore.

David Gerstein은 이스라엘의 화가, 조각가 및 디자이너이다. 그는 50년 간의 예술 경력을 통해 국제적 명성을 얻었으며 그의 작품은 국제걱으로 높이 평가 된다. 데이비드 걸스타인(David Gerstein)은 자연, 스포츠, 도시 생활을  Cut-out 기법으로 표현하였다. 

David Gerstein은 1944년 예루살렘에서 태어나 예루살렘의 Bezalel Academy를 졸업했다. 그 후 그는 파리의 Ecole Supérieure des Beaux Arts에서 공부했다. 그는 뉴욕 예술 학생 리그의 일원이었고, 런던 St. Martin's School of Art에서 대학원 과정을 밟았으며, 현재 그는 예루살렘에 있는 베살렐 아카데미의 선임 강사이다.

David Gerstein은 동시에 공공 조각품에 대한 열정이 있었고 이스라엘에서만 40개 이상의 조각품을 공공 광장과 광장에 만들었으며 영국, 프랑스, 스웨덴, 이탈리아, 중국, 한국 및 기타 국가에서 더 많은 대규모 야외 조각품을 만들었다.

Yoon Byoung Rock was born in Yeongcheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do in 1968. He majored in Western painting at Kyungpook National University and graduated from the same graduate school. His work extends the apple in the work, which itself seems as if it is about to roll down as an object, to the outer space of the frame, making it look as if the apple has protruded into the real space. Rather than a standardized square canvas, he draws realistic apples using a drawing board he has transformed and produced himself. To him, an apple is a memory and a hometown that evokes nostalgia, and he has been drawing apples with a joyful and happy mind. As a representative painter of hyperrealism, he has held more than 20 solo exhibitions in Daegu, Seoul, Osaka, France and the United States. He is called as a 'sold-out artist' because his works are sold out at each exhibition.

윤병락 작가는 1968년 경북 영천 출신이며, 경북대학교 서양화과를 전공하고 동 대학원을 졸업하였다. 그의 작품은 그 자체가 오브제화 돼 굴러떨어질 것만 같은 작품 속 사과를 프레임 밖 외부 공간으로까지 확장시켜, 마치 사과가 실존 공간으로 튀어나온 것처럼 보이게 한다. 사각형의 정형화된 캔버스가 아닌, 직접 변형·제작한 화판을 사용해 실감 나는 사과를 그린다. 그에게 사과란 추억이자 향수를 불러일으키는 고향과 같은 존재라며 즐겁고 행복한 마음으로 사과 그림을 그려왔다고 한다. 극사실주의 대표적인 화가로 대구, 서울, 오사카, 프랑스, 미국에서 20여차례가 넘는 개인전을 열었고, 매 전시때마다 작품이 솔드아웃 되서 '솔드아웃 작가' 라고 불린다. 

Artist Byun Dae-yong, who majored in sculpture at the Department of Fine Arts at Busan ​​National University and completed a doctoral degree at the same graduate school, is known for his works that convey social critical messages in a humorous way using characters, the human body, and animals. Since 2015, he has focused on works featuring white bears, indirectly expressing the disaster caused by human desire in modern society through the situation of white bears in crisis after losing their homes due to climate change. Through works that provide visual pleasure with pastel colors and smooth shapes, they address the environmental crisis while talking about the comfort and hope that nature provides. Byun Dae Yong's works are completed by creating a prototype out of clay, making it out of FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) or resin, and then painting it with car paint. The artist held approximately 50 solo exhibitions at Lotte Gallery, Shinsegae Gallery, etc. and participated in approximately 200 group exhibitions. In addition, he has carried out collaboration work with companies such as Hite and CJ E&M, and his works are owned by many institutions including Heungkuk Life Insurance, Amore Pacific Museum of Art, Ramada Hotel Busan, and Pohang Museum of Art.

부산대학교 미술학과에서 조소를 전공하고, 동 대학원 박사과정을 수료한 변대용 작가는 캐릭터, 인체, 동물을 활용하여 사회비판적인 메시지를 유머러스하게 전달하는 작품으로 알려져 있다. 2015년부터는 백곰을 소재로 한 작업에 집중하며 기후변화로 보금자리를 잃고 위기에 처한 백곰의 상황을 통해 현대사회에서 인간의 욕망이 불러온 재앙을 간접적으로 표현한다. 파스텔톤의 색감, 매끄러운 형태로 시각적인 즐거움을 주는 작품을 통해 환경 위기를 다루면서도 자연이 주는 위로와 희망을 이야기한다. 변대용의 작품은 흙으로 빚어서 원형을 만들고 FRP(섬유강화 플라스틱) 또는 레진으로 제작한 후 자동차 도료로 도색하여 완성한다. 작가는 롯데갤러리, 신세계갤러리 등에서 50여 회 개인전을 개최하였으며 200여회의 단체전에 참가하였다. 또한 하이트, CJ E&M 등의 기업과 콜라보레이션 작업을 진행하였으며, 흥국생명, 아모레퍼시픽미술관, 라마다호텔 부산, 포항시립미술관 등 다수의 기관에서 그의 작품을 소장하고 있다.
